Parece ser que fué grabado en el Estudio Fremontel en Diciembre de 1973, se publicó en 1976 con el nombre de "Stephane Grappelli & Jean-Luc Ponty" por el sello Inner City y luego republicado en 1989 como Violin Summit, no sé si con la intención de que se confundiese con el llamado Jazz Violin Summit de 1967 que no tiene nada que ver con éste. Tampoco estoy muy seguro de ésto, pero es lo que he podido entender después de dar muchas vueltas buscando información de este disco.

De cualquier manera una gozada oirles tocar juntos. A disfrutar.
